About Me

Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name is Engr. Waseem Raja and I’m the author of www.qaqccivilengineering.com. I am a Civil Engineer by profession but I’ve specialized and taken the journey in the field of Quality Engineering and Estimating & Costing.

I’ve worked as a Quality Engineer in the well-known companies in the Saudi Arabia and UAE for almost Seven years and Three years as QA/QC Manager. In the grace of ALLAH I am still working in Saudi Arabia as QA/QC Manager. I am proud that I had my first work experience from that office in my home country, Pakistan. I was took start from Bahria Town Project as a Quality Inspector.

I am a CEO/Founder of 

Pakistan Society of B.Tech Engineers (PSBTE)

And a Member of

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) of United States, Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) of United Kingdom & Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) of Saudi Arabia. Even though I do not have extra time due to workloads in almost every day’s task, I insisted in finding  opportunity to get training for my development and career advancement. Here are few of the major training I attended as summarized below:

•      Diploma in Project Management (DPM)
•      ISO 9000:2000 Series Foundation Training Course - Course no. A17176 certified by International Register of Certified Auditors ( IRCA )
•      Diploma in Advanced Excel Database Designing
•      Diploma in Estimating & Costing of CE Projects

I made this blog in order to easily share with the people who are willing to take the journey that I have taken. I really want to share the knowledge I gathered from the start of my career until today.
